Priet leaves Doncaster

Doncaster defender Nicolas Priet has left the club in a bid for regular football.

Doncaster defender Nicolas Priet has left the club in a bid for regular first team football.

The French stopper has found opportunities scarce since recovering from a foot injury sustained in September and has now decided to seek pastures new.

Priet is keen to remain in England and leaves Doncaster with happy memories of his time at Belle Vue.

''I have got one or two offers and it is now up to me to decide my next move,'' he told the club's official website.

''I don't have to rush into it but I would like to stay in England rather than go back to France.

''I have enjoyed my time here with such great fans but I need to play week in, week out.''
