Eddie Howe gives an update on the injured Callum Wilson and Jefferson Lerma

Callum Wilson is set to be out for three weeks after undergoing a minor knee operation, Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has confirmed.

The striker came off the pitch shortly after scoring in Bournemouth's win against West Ham on January 19, having missed the previous two games due to a hamstring injury.

But Howe revealed the extent of the new injury ahead of the Cherries' Premier League fixture against Chelsea.

"Callum just had a very very minor knee operation, just to clean it out. He will be around about three weeks we think, so not too serious," said Howe.
