Chesterfield ban three supporters over pitch encroachment against Ebbsfleet

Chesterfield have issued banning orders to three supporters who encroached onto the pitch in the 3-3 draw with Ebbsfleet on Saturday.

One fan has been banned for 10 years while two others have been banned for three years each, and the club are continuing to work with the FA and Derbyshire Police to identify other offenders.

The club issues ten-year bans for anyone that encroaches onto the pitch and/or interacts with or makes contact with a player, while the National League club bans fans that encroach onto the pitch for three years.

The FA have confirmed to Sky Sports News they are investigating allegations of assault and racist abuse towards a player during the match at the Proact Stadium.

After Chesterfield's Will Evans scored a stoppage-time equaliser to make it 3-3, a number of home fans swarmed onto the pitch in celebration.
