Rotherham still have injury concerns ahead of their home game with Aston Villa.

Goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell needs a second scan on a finger injury and will not play while defenders Joel Ekstrand (knee), Darnell Fisher (hamstring) and Richard Wood (groin) all miss out.

The Millers could call on midfielder Lee Frecklington, though, as he has trained all week after an ankle operation.

Deadline-day signing Carlton Morris is still not with the club as he overcomes a hamstring injury but is expected to join up with the squad on Monday.

Villa look likely to be without Andre Green and Gary Gardner after injury forced off both players against Bristol City in midweek.

Teenage winger Green is nursing a hamstring problem while midfielder Gardner was withdrawn after 37 minutes following an ankle knock.

Scott Hogan is still out with his ankle issue while fellow forwards Rushian Hepburn-Murphy and Gabriel Agbonlahor (hamstring) remain a week away from being available.
