Quakers hope to keep Barnett for at least another month

League Two strugglers Darlington have signed goalkeeper Ashlee Jones and midfielder Nathan Mulligan. Both players are expected to be included in boss Steve Staunton's squad for Saturday's match at Hereford. Mulligan, a former trainee at Middlesbrough, is a 23-year-old, right-sided midfielder who has been playing in the Northern League with Norton & Stockton. Jones, 22, has had spells at Crystal Palace and Wycombe, who released him in the summer. Staunton's assistant Kevin Richardson has confirmed the club will be attempting to keep hold of teenager Moses Barnett for at least another month. The 18-year-old defender, on loan from Everton, is scheduled to return to his parent club after the game at Hereford.
