Notts County manager John Sheridan has been handed a five-game touchline ban by the FA after being sent to the stands against Wycombe.

Sheridan was dismissed by referee Eddie Ilderton during the Sky Bet League Two game at Meadow Lane after remonstrating with officials for allowing Scott Kashket's 55th-minute effort from what looked to be an offside position.

The 52-year-old's ban will begin immediately, with Sheridan unable to take his place on the bench for tonight's FA Cup replay at Peterborough.
