Swindon Town boss closes in on the League Two title

Promoted League Two leaders Swindon will entertain Port Vale, while bottom placed Macclesfield host Burton Albion. There are just two games left of the normal season and Swindon boss Paolo Di Canio wants his side to round off their superb campaign by going up as champions. It's still very much in their hands but Shrewsbury are poised to pounce and erode Town's four-point advantage if they continue to stutter. Di Canio will take his Swindon team to the Potteries and will be keen to return to winning ways after losing their last two games. Port Vale have lost just one of their last five games and appear to be finishing the season strongly. Second-placed Shrewsbury host Dagenham & Redbridge as they try and maintain their momentum towards the title. They have lost just one of their last 10 games, winning seven in the process. Crawley will host second-bottom Hereford and will be determined to hold onto the last automatic promotion slot, as Torquay turn up the pressure on them.

Play-off race

Fourth-placed Torquay are primed to take advantage of any slip-ups from Craig Brewster's third-placed team. Just a point separates them as they prepare to host Crewe, who presently occupy the last play-off slot. Eighth-placed Oxford United are just two points shy of the play-off zone but with three draws in their last three outings, Southend could derail their hopes. Aldershot, who have come off the back of two wins, will welcome Rotherham to the Recreation Ground. Both teams' hopes of finishing in the play-offs are fading, although it does remain mathematically possible. Barnet have not managed to extinguish the fears of relegation and are just two points above the drop zone. They face AFC Wimbledon who are coming off the back of a 2-0 win over high-flying Torquay. Accrington will travel to Bristol Rovers for what could be a pedestrian end-of-season affair. Both teams are safe from the fears of relegation and not close enough to the pack to challenge for play-off places. Lowly Bradford could derail Cheltenham's dreams of securing a play-off place when they travel to Whaddon Road.
Survival
Phil Parkinson's men have won their last two games as they try and finish the term strongly, while Cheltenham have only won in two of their last 10 outings. Down to the bottom now, where basement dwellers Macclesfield will host Burton. The Silkmen, with two games remaining of the term, could still escape relegation. Morecambe will also host Plymouth and Northampton will welcome Gillingham who still harbour hopes of reaching the play-offs.
