Hereford already receiving interest in manager's job

Hereford United are looking for a new manager after Richard O'Kelly rejected the opportunity to stay on following the club's relegation from the Football League. O'Kelly replaced Jamie Pitman at the helm in early March, but the former Doncaster Rovers assistant was unable to keep the Bulls in League Two. He won three of his 12 games in charge, including a last-day success over Torquay United, and was offered the chance to remain in the role. However, O'Kelly has turned down the opportunity and Hereford chairman David Keyte is now searching for a successor. "We're disappointed that Richard has decided his future doesn't lie with us," Keyte told the club's official website. "But we'd like to thank him for his efforts during the last 10 weeks. "Our task now is to find someone who does want to be manager of Hereford United. "We've already had people enquiring about the vacancy and we'll be looking to appoint a new manager within the next 14 days."
