Celtic have announced Scott Brown has signed a new two-year contract extension which will see him remain at the club until 2021.

The 33-year-old midfielder had been linked with a move to Australia with Western Melbourne, but has instead extended his stay in Glasgow.

Brown has been a key figure in the club's many successes over the past few years, having won eight league titles, five League Cups and four Scottish Cups, and has captained the club to a historic Double Treble under Brendan Rodgers.
