Allan McGregor has agreed terms to return to Rangers at the end of the season on a two year deal, Sky Sports News understands.
The Hull and Scotland goalkeeper, who is out of contract this summer, will return to the club he left in 2012.
McGregor has made 43 appearances for Hull this season and played in his country's recent friendlies against Costa Rica and Hungary in March.
The 36-year-old played for Rangers for more than a decade between 2001 and 2012.
He made his debut in February 2002 and enjoyed loan spells with St Johnstone and Dunfermline before establishing himself as No 1 at Ibrox.
McGregor won a host of honours with the club, including three Scottish titles, and played a key role in their run to the UEFA Cup final in 2008, only to miss the game through injury.
He joined Besiktas in 2012 where he spent a season before a move to Hull the following year.
The Scotland international has made 147 appearances for the Tigers and played in the FA Cup final in 2014 when his side lost 3-2 to Arsenal.
