Kilmarnock have accepted a two-game ban handed to Jordan Jones for simulation against Dundee at Dens Park.
Jones was issued with a notice of complaint for simulation after going down during the second half of Killie's game at Dens Park to win a penalty, which was converted to condemn Dundee to a 2-1 defeat.
The forward will now miss the trip to St Mirren on October 20, and the visit of Hamilton a week later.
Killie issued a statement on their website that read: "Following internal discussion, the club can confirm we will not challenge the notice of complaint submitted against Jordan Jones following our victory over Dundee.
"Jordan is adamant that he did not carry out an act of simulation, nor did he claim for a penalty kick or intend to deceive the referee.
"However, as part of the judicial panel system, this charge has been brought after former referees considered the evidence and whilst we have every right to deny the allegation we are not inclined to on this occasion as we had no additional substantive evidence to submit for consideration.
"Jordan will now be suspended for our upcoming Ladbrokes Premiership matches away to St Mirren on October 20 and at home to Hamilton on October 27."
Dundee's defeat left them bottom of the Scottish Premiership, and following the game Neil McCann made no effort to hide his anger at the referee's decision to award Kilmarnock the penalty.
The Dundee boss said: "To say I'm aggrieved is an understatement. I'm absolutely furious. It's an emotional game when you're a manager and right now I feel pretty sick.
"My boys didn't deserve that. It's a pivotal moment because again we have to come from behind and it's changed the whole outcome.
"The decision was a disgrace and it's hard for me to control my emotions.
"The defining thing for me was that he's (Jones) told boys in my team he has taken a dive. I asked the boy himself as he came off the pitch at the end. He just shook my hand but didn't answer me."
