Arrest made in assault on Hearts' Zdenek Zlamal

A man has been charged in relation to an assault on Hearts goalkeeper Zdenek Zlamal during the Edinburgh derby.

Police Scotland have confirmed that a 21-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident during Hearts' clash with Hibernian on Wednesday 31 October.

The man has been released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.

Inquiries into the other incidents that occurred at Hearts' Tynecastle Stadium are currently still ongoing, according to Police Scotland.

Police have also arrested a 26-year-old man in a separate football-related incident involving an assault on a 70-year-old woman near Murrayfield Stadium on Sunday 28 October.
