John Robertson has been appointed Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager for a second time.

Robertson will succeed Richie Foran, who was sacked after the club was relegated to the Scottish Championship at the end of the season.

Robertson had previously managed the club from 2002-2004.

During his previous time in charge at the Caledonian stadium, Robertson led the club to promotion to the Scottish Premier League for the first time in their history in 2003/04. His side also knocked out Celtic of the Scottish Cup.

The 52-year-old left Caley Thistle in November 2004 to take over boyhood club Hearts but he was sacked from that role in May 2005.
