St Mirren have signed defender Anton Ferdinand on a deal until the end of the season.
The 33 year-old, who was a free agent, began his career at West Ham and made over 150 appearances for the Hammers.
Capped by England at U21 level, Ferdinand has also had spells with Sunderland, Queens Park Rangers, Antalyaspor, Reading and, most recently, Southend.
Ferdinand spent two years with the Shrimpers, making 71 appearances before leaving Roots Hall in the summer.
He becomes Oran Kearney's first signing since becoming Buddies boss earlier in September.
