Marseille maintained their Ligue 1 title challenge with a 4-0 victory at Lens on Sunday.

The win keeps Marseille third in the league, a point behind second-placed Lyon and two behind leaders Paris St-Germain.

Michy Batshuayi gave Marseille the lead early in the second half and Alaixys Romao doubled the advantage in the 67th minute.

Andre Ayew made it 3-0 five minutes later and Batshuayi rounded off the scoring in injury-time.

Monaco continued their bid for Champions League qualification with a 3-1 win at struggling Reims.

Goals from Fabinho and Anthony Martial put the visitors in command early on before Diego pulled one back with 20 minutes to go.

But Nabil Dirar restored fourth-placed Monaco's two-goal lead nine minutes later as they made it three league wins in a row to remain firmly in the hunt for a top-three finish.

Max Gradel scored twice as St Etienne stayed on the coattails of the top three with a 2-0 win over 10-man Lille.

The former Leeds forward took his tally for the season to 10 goals with a smart finish just after the hour-mark and then made sure of the win 11 minutes later with a deflected effort.

Marcos Lopes was sent off for Lille in the 52nd minute as their three-match winning run came to an end.
