Barcelona's Luis Suarez to undergo knee surgery

Barcelona have announced striker Luis Suarez will undergo surgery after suffering a medial meniscus injury in his right knee.
The 32-year-old has enjoyed another prolific season at the La Liga club, netting 25 goals in 49 appearances and helping them retain the La Liga title.
Barcelona will confirm the amount of time they expect Suarez to be on the sidelines after the operation.
In a statement, the club said: "The first team player Luis Suárez has an medial meniscus injury in his right knee and surgeon Dr Cugat will perform arthroscopic surgery on the Uruguayan under the supervision of the club's medical staff.
"The outcome of the process and an estimate of how long the striker will be out will be announced following the surgery."
Suarez played the full 90 minutes on Tuesday as Barcelona were knocked out of the Champions League by Liverpool, with the Reds producing a memorable 4-0 victory at Anfield to progress to the final courtesy of a 4-3 aggregate score.
Barcelona end their La Liga campaign with matches against Getafe and Eibar before facing Valencia in the Copa del Rey final on May 25.
