England captain Harry Kane helped Bayern Munich strengthen their grip on Group A in the Champions League as he scored in a 3-1 win at Galatasaray.

Kane scored his 11th goal in 13 games for the German side as he put them 2-1 up after Kingsley Coman's early opener was cancelled out by Mauro Icardi's penalty.

The 30-year-old tapped home from close range in the 73rd minute and then Jamal Musiala made the game safe six minutes later to all but seal qualification for the knockout stages.

"It's my first time in this stadium and I'm just about getting my hearing back now," goalscorer Kane said. "Thankfully, we were able to come through it today.

"It's a really important win. This is a really tough place to come. It made things difficult for us, especially in the first half.

"In the second half, we were a bit more calm, better on the ball and took our chances. To have nine points after three games is really important."

The precocious England international scored his 11th goal in 12 games for his new club as Madrid took control of Group C, making it three wins out of three.

Rodrygo put Madrid ahead in the first half before Bellingham doubled the lead on the hour, with Alvaro Djalo getting the Portuguese side back in it.

A win against Braga at home in the next round in November will guarantee Real a spot in the knockout stage for the 28th consecutive time.

Napoli's Giacomo Raspadori scored a second-half goal to secure a 1-0 victory at Union Berlin in their Group C match and stretch their opponents' losing run to nine straight games in all competitions.

In a match of few highlights, the Germans enjoyed the better chances in the first half but it was a run by Napoli's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia down the left which decided the game as he set up Raspadori to fire home the winner in the 65th minute.

Inter Milan extended their unbeaten start in Champions League Group D with a 2-1 win over Red Bull Salzburg at San Siro.

Oscar Gloukh gave the Austrians hope when he cancelled out an opener from Alexis Sanchez but Hakan Calhanoglu's second-half penalty extended the fine form of Simone Inzaghi's side.

Lens forward Elye Wahi cancelled out Johan Bakayoko's opener for PSV to salvage a 1-1 draw in Group B.

Both teams started cautiously and fans saw little action in the first half, where PSV winger Hirving Lozano hit the post from outside the box before the half-hour mark.

Belgium forward Bakayoko gave PSV the lead after the break with a stunning finish from distance before Wahi levelled for the hosts with a volley from close range in the 65th minute.

A second-half goal by Brais Mendez gave Real Sociedad a 1-0 win at Benfica that moved them above Inter Milan in Group D on goal difference.

Both sides had first-half goals ruled out for offside but it took until the 63rd minute for Mendez to break the deadlock, scoring with a deflected effort from the edge of the six-yard box after great work by Ander Barrenetxea.

Benfica piled on the pressure late on and Fredrik Aursnes had a superb opportunity to level for his side in the 87th minute, but the midfielder snatched at his shot and made it easy for 'keeper Alex Remiro to save.

Real Sociedad top the group on seven points, with Inter second and Salzburg third on three points. Benfica are bottom with no points from their three games so far in the competition.
