Bayern Munich held their annual Oktoberfest celebrations on Sunday

Bayern Munich put their on-field problems to one side on Sunday in order to hold their annual Oktoberfest celebrations.

Bayern have struggled this season under new manager Niko Kovac and are now sixth in the Bundesliga after losing 3-0 to Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.

However, it was all smiles on Sunday as the players, coaching staff and their family members came together to celebrate all things Bavarian.

The entire Bayern squad dressed in traditional costumes for the festival, with customary lederhosen and Bavarian jackets on show in Munich.

Thomas Muller, Robert Lewandowski and Manuel Neuer were among the star names involved in the celebrations, while head coach Kovac was pictured drinking beer with club chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

The players will now head off to their respective national teams for the international break, with Bayern next due to face Wolfsburg on October 20.
