Former Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has again been overlooked by Netherlands boss Danny Blind for their World Cup qualifiers.
Blind has confirmed his first squad for their campaign to reach the 2018 Russia World Cup, after failing to qualify for Euro 2016 earlier this year, with a trip to Sweden first up on September 6.
Daley Blind, son of Netherlands head coach Danny, has been included alongside fellow United team-mate Memphis Depay in the 36-man squad that will also play a friendly at home to Greece on September 1.
However, 33-year-old Van Persie, will not be involved once again after being left out of the squad that faced England and France in March.
New Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen is preferred to Van Persie, who is his country's record goalscorer with 50 goals in 101 internationals.
Liverpool's summer signing Georginio Wijnaldum is also included in the Netherlands' squad, which features nine Premier League players in total.
Blind's side finished fourth in their European Championship qualifying group, missing out on the European championship in France this summer.
