Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin has been included in Spain's Euro 2016 squad - with coach Vicente del Bosque naming his last four players for the group on Tuesday night.

Real Madrid's Dani Carvajal was ruled out of the tournament because of a muscle injury sustained in the Champions League final in Milan, meaning Bellerin has been rewarded for a fine season at the Emirates.

The 21-year-old won his first cap for his country in the 3-1 friendly win over Bosnia-Herzegovina on Sunday.

Del Bosque initially named a squad of 19, leaving places spare for four from a group of six players involved in Saturday's Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

After considering his options, the coach confirmed his remaining selections early on Tuesday evening.

Real's Sergio Ramos and the uncapped Lucas Vazquez are in with Atletico's Juanfran and Koke. Real's Isco and - as expected - Saul Niguez of Atletico have been omitted.

Del Bosque said: "We knew that we had to drop several players and I can only take 23. I wanted to balance the squad and I think I've chosen the best. With these 23 players we are covered."
