Wigan manager Paul Cook believes the pair will provide much-needed experience

Alex Bruce and Gary Roberts have signed one-year contract extensions with Wigan Athletic.
Bruce, 33, and Roberts, 34, were part of the Latics squad which won the League One title in the 2017-18 campaign.
Roberts featured 35 times in all competitions last season, while Bruce played 10 times for the club in his first season since joining on a short-term deal from Bury.
Wigan manager Paul Cook believes the pair will provide much-needed experience as the Latics look to avoid relegation in their first season back in the second tier.
"You know what you're going to get from lads like Alex and Gary and they're going to be really important to our squad with the demands we are going to face in the Championship," he said.
Wigan begin the 2018-19 season at home to Sheffield Wednesday on August 4, before they face Aston Villa in their first away game on August 11.
