Skysports.com understands a number of Premier League clubs are tracking Rapid Vienna striker Hamdi Salihi ahead of the transfer window reopening in January.
The prolific striker, who is nicknamed 'The Bomber', is out of contract at the end of the season and he could be available for a cut-price fee in the New Year.
The 27-year-old has netted 42 goals in 66 appearances for Rapid since joining the club from SV Ried in the summer of 2009 and his performances have not gone unnoticed by clubs across Europe.
Salihi has been likened to Nikica Jelavic, who he played with at Rapid prior to the Croatian's move to Rangers and he has scored more goals for Rapid than the Ibrox star managed.
Rapid are resigned to losing Salihi due to his contract situation and several sides are thought to be weighing up bids for the forward next month.
