Former Manchester United goalkeeper Fabien Barthez will step up to prototype racing for this year's Le Mans 24 Hours race.
Barthez took up racing following his retirement from football in 2007 and has focussed on racing GT cars. He made his Le Mans debut driving a Ferrari in 2014, finishing ninth in the GTE class.
However, 2016 will see a major step-up in level for the former goalkeeper as he gets behind the wheel of Ligier LMP2 car capable of around 200mph.
The legendary race takes place on June 18-19.
