Burton vs Gillingham preview
Thursday 2 April 2020 12:18, UK
Midfielder Stephen Quinn is Burton manager Nigel Clough's biggest injury concern ahead of the visit of Gillingham.
Quinn missed the 9-0 Carabao Cup thrashing by Manchester City with a groin injury and is rated a 50/50 chance to return by Clough.
Forward David Templeton missed training on Friday with a migraine, while defenders Jake Buxton and Ben Turner are hoping to shake off minor injuries from midweek. Striker Marvin Sordell remains sidelined but defender Kyle McFadzean will be assessed after returning to training.
Gills boss Steve Lovell is looking to name an unchanged line-up at the Pirelli Stadium. Lovell told the media this week that the team which beat Cardiff in the FA Cup deserves to play again on Saturday, unless there is a withdrawal through injury.
Max Ehmer (shoulder) and Barry Fuller are back in training after injuries but the defenders will have to wait to reclaim their places in the side. Regan Charles-Cook is fit again after hamstring trouble but fellow midfielders Billy Bingham and Dean Parrett (hamstring) are not yet ready to return to contention.
