Galatasaray have reappointed Mustafa Denizli as their new manager on a one-and-a-half-year deal, according to reports in Turkey.
The Turkish champions sacked Hamza Hamzaoglu last week after a disappointing start to the Super Lig season.
The Istanbul club are currently third, seven points behind leaders Besiktas, and Denizli's main task will be to mount a charge back into the title race.
The 66-year-old, who has managed Galatasaray twice already, is the only coach to have won the Turkish league with three different clubs.
In 1987 he claimed top spot in his first spell as Galatasaray boss and followed that up by claiming titles with Fenerbahce and Besiktas in 2001 and 2009 respectively.
"Galatasaray is the only club for which I will risk everything," Denizli told the Hurriyet Daily News.
"I'm excited. I started a different career here, and hopefully I will end it successfully here."
The former Turkey manager's immediate attention will turn to Wednesday's Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid, where defeat would confirm their elimination from the competition.
