LOCKWOOD BLOW FOR ORIENT
LEYTON ORIENT have been dealt a blow with the news star defender Matthew Lockwood will be out of action for a month.
Lockwood, who has been linked with moves to First Division Millwall and Crystal Palace this summer, was carried off in The O's 2-1 defeat at York City on Saturday and it has emerged the left-back has a ruptured spleen.
"Matthew was very unwell on the coach home from York on Saturday night and we immediately took him to a hospital," O's boss Tommy Taylor said.
"We didn't arrive home until one o'clock on Sunday morning. The doctor said he could be out for about four weeks, but he will go for more scans to assess the injury."
