Ross County have signed striker Inih Effiong from National League side Woking for an undisclosed fee.

Effiong has signed an 18-month contract with the Scottish Premiership side, having impressed Staggies manager Owen Coyle since a summer move from Barrow.

His form has improved dramatically since November, and Effiong heads to Scotland having scored seven goals in his last 12 games in all competitions.

Coyle said: "I'm delighted to bring Inih to the club. He is a tall, powerful frontman and differs from the other strikers we have at the club so I think he will fit in well.

"Inih is relishing the step up from the Vanarama National League to the Scottish Premiership and can't wait to get started."
