Former Tottenham, Queens Park Rangers and Dundee defender Steven Caulker has joined Turkish side Alanyaspor for the rest of the season.

The 27-year-old has been without a club since leaving Dundee abruptly at the end of last summer's transfer window.

Caulker signed for the Scottish Premiership club in February 2018 on a one-and-a-half-year deal and went on to make 14 appearances.

He began his career in the Tottenham youth team and played 18 times for the senior side between 2009 and 2013.

During his time at Spurs, he went on loan to Yeovil, Bristol City and Swansea.

He also made his one England appearance against Sweden in 2012 after being called up by Roy Hodgson, and scored when he turned in a Steven Gerrard free-kick.

Caulker went on to play for Cardiff City and then QPR, who loaned him out to Southampton and Liverpool before his move to Dundee.
