Jamie Carragher on why he would not sack Jose Mourinho at Chelsea

Jamie Carragher has had his say on Jose Mourinho's position at Chelsea, insisting he is "too good" and shouldn't be sacked.
The Premier League champions are currently 15th in the table after picking up just 11 points from their opening 10 games and they crashed out of the Capital One Cup on penalties against Stoke on Tuesday night.
There has been speculation throughout the English written media concerning Mourinho's position ahead of Saturday's clash with Liverpool, but Sky Sports pundit Carragher does not want to see owner Roman Abramovich get rid of the 'Special One'.
I wouldn't sack him if I was Chelsea. I think he's a fantastic manager, his record shows that.

Mourinho has been hit with an FA misconduct charge after being sent to the stands during Saturday's clash with West Ham, but Carragher argued Chelsea's form has improved and they would struggle to attract a better manager.
He said: "People are talking about him getting the sack if he loses that game [against Liverpool]. I wouldn't sack him if I was Chelsea. I think he's a fantastic manager, his record shows that.
"But it's not just on the pitch, it's off the pitch. If he was to lose his job, I think it would be more for off-the-pitch incidents rather than just results. If Chelsea were fifth or sixth in the league we'd still be criticising.
"But to get rid of a manager who has just won the championship, three or four months into a new season, even though they've had a terrible start, I wouldn't be looking to get rid of Jose Mourinho.
"He's too good, there's probably only two or three managers in world football at his level, and whoever Chelsea brought in would maybe be a step below.
"I think of late they've actually improved. They beat Aston Villa and against West Ham there was ill-discipline but they played with 10 men for that long and just lost it at the end.
"They played well again against Stoke, should have won and lost on penalties. I think maybe they are having a bit of bad luck."
