Huddersfield are interested in signing AC Milan forward Andre Silva, according to Sky in Italy.

Terriers boss David Wagner is aiming to strengthen his squad ahead of next season and has already completed the signing of goalkeeper Ben Hamer on a free transfer from Leicester.

Silva joined Milan from Porto for £33m only last summer, but struggled to find his best form during his debut season at the San Siro.

The 22-year-old netted 10 goals in 40 appearances for Milan, with only two of those strikes coming in Serie A.

Prior to joining Milan, Silva enjoyed his best campaign to date, netting 21 goals in 44 matches for Porto.
