With Sky Sports Fantasy Football's top points scorers either involved in Capital One Cup final action or out of form, our scout looks at some value-for-money options for this weekend.

The Capital One Cup final means that popular picks Diego Costa, Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas, Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen are unable to add to their hefty hauls, while Manchester City's Super Sunday trip to in-form Liverpool raises concerns over selecting Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling.

Arsenal and Manchester United have the most favourable fixtures, with Sky Bet rating them both odds-on to win this weekend, but obvious candidates are tough to find.

Alexis Sanchez is the game's second highest scorer but has failed to net in his last six appearances in all competitions following Wednesday's Champions League loss, while few have found consistent form from Louis van Gaal's squad.

However, there are plenty of better value options out there racking up the points. Kane and Hazard would make the below list but will be busy at Wembley, so here's the top five value-for-money options which are in Premier League action this week.

STOKE ON TRENT, ENGLAND - OCTOBER 29: Fraser Forster of Southampton during the Capital One Cup Fourth Round match between Stoke City and Southampton at Br

Fraser Forster

101 points divided by £4.9m = 20.61 per million

Southampton boast the Premier League's best defensive record, having kept 12 clean sheets with Forster in goal. Saturday's trip to the Hawthorns provides the Saints with a good chance of adding to that tally, with West Brom failing to score in three of their last five games.

Stewart Downing of West Ham United celebrates as he scores their third goal

Stewart Downing

119 points divided by £6.2m = 19.19 per million

The West Ham winger has enjoyed a resurgent campaign, scoring five goals, setting up six and collecting five Sky Sports MOTM awards. The Hammers should get back to winning ways when Crystal Palace visit on Saturday, providing Downing with the opportunity to add to his already impressive tally.

Lukasz Fabianski fails to stop Craig Conway's right-footed shot from outside the box to seal a 3-1 win for Blackburn

Lukasz Fabianski

71 points divided by £3.8m = 18.68 per million

Swansea's defensive record may be less impressive than Southampton's but Fabianski, who is one of the cheapest players in the game, has kept nine clean sheets this season, the third highest tally in the Premier League. Saturday sees the Swans travel to Turf Moor, where Burnley have only scored 13 times this season.

Ryan Bertrand

93 points divided by £5.1m = 18.24 per million

Like Forster, Bertrand will be looking to help the Saints rack up another clean sheet on Saturday, but he also offers plenty going forward, with two goals and the same amount of assists this season. Bertrand and his team-mates head to West Brom looking to record a fifth successive victory, with the left-back capable of clearing the 100-point mark with another impressive display.

Ki Sung-yueng

Ki Sung-Yueng of Swansea City celebrates

88 points divided by £5m = 17.6 per million

The central midfielder has scored five times this season, making him Swansea's leading scorer following Wilfried Bony's departure, including two in his last three appearances. However, it's fair to say Sky Sports Fantasy Football bosses have been slow to catch on to Ki, with only 2.6 per cent selecting him.
