Palace boss wants to get 'back to basics'

Neil Warnock has put contract talks on hold to ensure Crystal Palace stay focused on a play-off push. The Palace manager was unhappy with the midweek defeat to Ipswich Town, and was critical of the contribution of some of his senior players. And, following three defeats in four matches, Warnock has opted to put any discussions regarding new deals on the backburner. "All contracts talks have been put on hold for the time being," Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser. "We've got to get back to basics and concentrating on football." Clinton Morrison, Julian Speroni and Mark Hudson are among the players who are out of contract at Selhurst Park in the summer.
