Striker commits his future to the Hatters
Anthony Pilkington has signed a new contract at Stockport which ties him to the club until 2010.
The teenage striker joined the Hatters during the 2006/07 season from non-league Atherton Colleries and made an immediate impact, netting five goals in 18 appearances.
He has added a further seven in 26 outings in all competitions this year and has become an integral part of Jim Gannon's promotion-chasing squad.
Previously on the books of Preston North End, Blackburn Rovers and Manchester United as a trainee, he is delighted to have committed his long-term future to the Hatters.
"I got offered the contract in January when I was doing quite well so I'm very pleased to have signed it," he told the club's official website.
