Six-time champions Blackburn Rovers will face Crewe Alexandra in a repeat of last season's EFL Cup second-round tie, which ended in a 4-3 win for the hosts at Ewood Park.

The draw, which was conducted by Andy Cole and Kevin Davies on Monday evening, also paired non-league club Boreham Wood with former winners Coventry City.

Hereford, the lowest-ranked side to have secured their progression into the second round, will face either Chorley or Fleetwood, who play on Monday night.

All second-round ties will take place on the weekend of December 1-4.
