Two goals from Joel Potter and a Daniel Nardiello winner saw Hartlepool claim victory at Yeovil.

Nardiello scores winner in five-goal thriller

Joel Porter scored twice as Hartlepool produced a fighting display to beat fellow strugglers Yeovil 3-2. Yeovil had a dream start when Jon Obika laid on a seventh minute goal for Gavin Tomlin but five minutes later the visitors were given a penalty for a clumsy challenge on Porter and Pools' top striker got up to score from the spot. Right on half-time Porter claimed another goal with a close-range header from a cross by Andy Monkhouse, but Yeovil equalised after 57 minutes when Andros Townsend, on loan from Spurs, fired a right-wing free-kick in to the far corner of Jan Budtz's goal. Tomlin missed a chance to put the Glovers ahead, lobbing just wide but when a goal arrived it was at the other end, Daniel Nardiello heading in another cross from the busy Monkhouse.
