Gunners ace insists he can only get better

Andrey Arshavin has promised Arsenal supporters that there is more to come from him in the future. The Russia international has made an eye-catching start to life in England following a winter transfer window move from Zenit St Petersburg. His undoubted ability on the ball and keen eye for goal has already been prevalent during his short time in the Premier League, but he announced his arrival in style at Anfield on Tuesday. He produced a sublime individual performance on Merseyside as he notched all four of the Gunners' goals in a 4-4 draw with Liverpool. It is difficult to see how he could better that midweek showing during the rest of his career at Emirates Stadium, but the talented playmaker is adamant that he is still finding his feet in the Premier League and is yet to reach his full potential. "I do not think I have adapted yet because in the first half (against Liverpool) I was quiet, except for the one moment when I scored," he said.

Unbelievable

"It is difficult, but I will try - I need time. "I am a new player, I have to go through [my own] pre-season and then everything will be better." Arshavin added: "I had only scored a hat-trick twice in my career. "I feel good, but also disappointed because we did not get the victory. "Both teams wanted to win. What can I say? It was unbelievable football, but that is England for you."
