The Argentine international midfielder has just returned to La Mestalla following a season-long loan at Atletico Madrid.
Banega, 21, is hopeful of forcing his way into Valencia coach Unai Emery's first-team plans, but he could be offered the chance to switch to England.
Banega featured for Valencia against Manchester United on Wednesday evening, and a host of clubs were present to check on him.
Before the clash with United, Banega admitted he was looking forward to the new season: "I feel good, I have done a good pre-season."
