Swansea City boss Garry Monk was happy to come away from the Stadium of Light with a point after his side drew 0-0 with Sunderland.
The Swans ended the game with 10 men following Angel Rangel’s sending-off for a second yellow card on 81 minutes, and Monk's men had to withstand waves of late pressure.
The best of the game’s chances fell to the hosts but Monk was happy to take the draw after back-to-back Premier League defeats.
"It was definitely a good point," he told Sky Sports.
"I think the way the game panned out towards the end – going down to 10 men – at that point you would be happy to take the point away."
Monk did admit he felt a different referee may have allowed Rangel to stay on the pitch, but Chris Foy was not feeling quite so generous.
Monk explained: "We’ll have to clarify but I think it was for Angel throwing the ball away and then the second one was a 50/50 for me really.
"Sometimes you get a yellow and sometimes you don’t. With this referee today we were definitely going to get a yellow. All in all, I can’t complain.
"Obviously, going down to 10 men we had to dig in but I think we came out and controlled the game in the second half.
"There weren't many chances being created by either team, we were very much in control.
"They had a couple of headers towards the end and with us down to 10 men, they threw everything into the box.
"I thought we defended admirably and I thought the boys threw themselves on the line. All in all, a deserved point."
