Premier League: Saido Berahino reflects on 'great week' for West Brom

West Brom striker Saido Berahino hailed a "great week" for his side after they beat Burnley 4-0 at The Hawthorns on Sunday.

It was Albion's third win in eight days, but the England Under-21 international insisted the Baggies will not be getting carried away ahead of some testing-looking matches.

Berahino scored twice as West Brom followed up their wins over Tottenham and Hull with a thorough thrashing of the Clarets.

Those three victories came after a poor start to the season and have helped West Brom climb away from trouble at the foot of the Premier League standings and progress through to the fourth round of the Capital One Cup.

However, with matches against Liverpool and Manchester United next on the fixture list, Berahino knows there is plenty of hard work ahead of them.

"We're gonna have to focus now on Liverpool away and make sure we get something there."

He added: "It was definitely a complete team performance today.

"We were 'on it' until the end and it just shows how good this group is. I try to do my best and try to help the team and I contributed today with a couple of goals and I just thank God."

Chris Brunt, who claimed an assist when Craig Dawson headed in his corner on the half-hour mark, said: "Credit to the lads, we were right on top of the game and we well deserve the win."
