Northampton v Rotherham preview

Team news for Good Friday's League Two clash between Northampton and Rotherham at Sixfields (kick-off 7:45pm).

Northampton striker Guillem Bauza has been passed fit as Gary Johnson's side go in search of a first win in 17 games. Bauza scored in the 2-2 draw at Wycombe last weekend before having to be replaced with a chest injury but has passed himself fit. Manager Johnson said: "Guillem has trained the last couple of days and he's declared himself fit for Friday. At half-time on Saturday we thought he had broken his ribs and he was finding it very difficult to breathe. "I left him out there for as long as I could in the second half but I could see that he was struggling and that's why I made the substitution." Defender John Johnson is out with a recurrence of his thigh problem while midfielder Kevin Thornton and captain Andy Holt have knee injuries. Midfielder Ryan Gilligan is sidelined for the rest of the season following surgery on a long-standing ankle problem and goalkeeper Chris Dunn will miss out again with his head injury. Rotherham are sweating on the fitness of Andy Warrington and Ian Thomas-Moore. Veteran goalkeeper Warrington has missed the last two games with a foot injury while striker Thomas-Moore is struggling with a thigh problem and has not played since the end of March. Jamie Annerson will keep his place in goal if Warrington does not make it. Johnny Mullins is the only definite absentee as he recovers from surgery to repair a dislocated patella and he is not expected to play until well into next season. New boss Andy Scott, who oversaw a 0-0 draw with Hereford in his first game in charge last weekend, looks set to recall top scorer Adam Le Fondre after the 22-goal striker found himself on the bench in recent weeks. After a catastrophic second half of the campaign, Scott's men must win all four of their remaining games if they are realistically going to qualify for the play-offs.
