Notts County begin life after Sol Campbell at home to Port Vale and new signing Daniel Jones is in line to make his debut.
The Magpies have signed the Wolves midfielder on loan until January with a view to joining the League Two club on a permanent basis.
Jones, who has made eight first-team appearances for Wolves since coming through Wanderers' youth ranks, has had loan spells at Northampton and Oldham in the previous two seasons.
Jones could be thrown straight into action against Vale with Stephen Hunt (groin) out and Jamie Clapham (hamstring) a doubt.
