Oldham v Exeter preview

Image: Furman: Set for Oldham recall

Team news ahead of Tuesday night's League One clash between Oldham Athletic and Exeter City at Boundary Park.

Oldham boss Paul Dickov looks set to recall influential midfielder Dean Furman, who is available again after serving a one-match ban during Saturday's 1-0 victory at Dagenham. Latics right-back Kieran Lee missed out at the weekend due to a pulled muscle in his backside and remains a major doubt for the clash with the Cumbrians. That means 17-year-old Carl Winchester, who made his league debut against the Daggers, looks set to keep his place. Striker Dean Kelly missed out on Saturday with a groin strain but he looks set to return. Oldham have now won their last three league games to climb to seventh place and, aside from Furman's recall, there are unlikely to be any other changes. Exeter manager Paul Tisdale has no new injury concerns. Fresh off the back of a 1-0 away win at Huddersfield on Saturday, the Grecians make another long trip to face Paul Dickov's men and Tisdale may be tempted to make changes in a bid to rotate his squad. John O'Flynn made a comeback from a groin injury with a substitute appearance at the Galpharm Stadium and is pushing for a place up front while Daniel Nardiello has been occupying the bench in recent weeks and is looking for a promotion to the starting line-up. Billy Jones has fully recovered from illness as has David Noble, who is in contention for a return to the squad for the game at Boundary Park.
