Oldham v Swindon preview

Image: Sheridan: No new concerns

Oldham boss John Sheridan has no fresh concerns for the visit of Swindon, who welcome back Patrick Kanyuka.

No new worries for Latics; Kanyuka back for Robins

Oldham boss John Sheridan has no fresh concerns for the visit of Swindon, who welcome back Patrick Kanyuka. Neal Eardley was an unused substitute for Tuesday's 2-0 defeat at Scunthorpe following his return from suspension and will battle it out with Kelvin Lomax for the right-back spot. Dale Stephens, who is yet to make his debut since joining from Bury in the summer, recently returned to training after an injury lay-off and could earn a place among the substitutes. Goalkeeper Mark Crossley remains Sheridan's main concern as he continues to suffer with a back problem. The Latics shot-stopper is unlikely to return until mid-March, so Greg Fleming will continue. The Latics have endured mixed form of late but have not lost a league match at Boundary Park since the 1-0 defeat against Northampton in mid-November.

Swindon team news

Swindon have defender Kanyuka available for their trip to Oldham. The 21-year-old was suspended for the midweek game against Walsall - Danny Wilson's first win since taking over as manager. Kanyuka's return means it is unlikely Jean-Francois Lescinel will make his debut. Lescinel was the only one of four recent loan signings that did not figure in the squad in midweek. Boss Wilson completed month-long loan deals for Gordon Greer and Hal Robson-Kanu from Doncaster and Reading respectively with both starting against Walsall, while Hamdi Razak was on the bench, and they should continue. Barry Corr remains sidelined after an operation on his shoulder and Hasney Aljofree (knee) is also still recovering from surgery.
