    Oldham v Wycombe preview

Image: Reid: Out with a thigh injury

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Oldham Athletic and Wycombe Wanderers at Boundary Park.

Oldham's joint top scorer Reuben Reid will miss the clash after being ruled out for at least six weeks with a thigh strain. The striker, who was on loan with the Chairboys during the 2007/08 season, missed the Latics' defeat to Tranmere after suffering the injury in the win over MK Dons and a subsequent scan has revealed he will be sidelined for the long run. Filipe Morais partnered Shefki Kuqi in Reid's absence and that duo could lead the line again. Manager Paul Dickov is hoping Zander Diamond will return at centre-half after missing out against Rovers with a back problem. Jean-Yves Mvoto is ready to slot in at the heart of the defence should Diamond not return. Josh Parker (knee) is still three to four weeks away from first-team action. Wycombe manager Gary Waddock will choose from an unchanged squad. Waddock could also opt to stick with an unchanged starting line-up after an impressive 3-1 victory over Hartlepool last weekend. There was only one change to the side at Victoria Park, with Ben Strevens coming in for Kadeem Harris. Harris, along with James Tunnicliffe, Joel Grant and Marvin McCoy, are available should Waddock wish to make any changes. Ben Harding and Matt McClure remain the only absentees. Harding is recovering from a minor groin operation and is expected to resume training shortly. Teenage striker McClure is making good progress in his recovery from a dislocated ankle but will not be back playing until early in the new year.
