Peterborough v Bournemouth preview

Image: Little: Suspended

Team news for Friday night's League One clash between Peterborough and Bournemouth at London Road.

Peterborough will be without defender Mark Little. Little was sent-off during the 2-2 draw at Bristol Rovers last week and serves a one-match suspension, so Kelvin Langmead or Chris Whelpdale are likely to fill in. Captain Grant McCann is available after international duty with Northern Ireland while top scorer Craig Mackail-Smith is fine to start after he made his Scotland debut against Brazil on Sunday. Centre-back Ryan Bennett should be back from an ankle injury but midfielder Lee Frecklington has had a hernia operation and will be sidelined for several more weeks. Striker Dave Hibbert is absent as he steps up his comeback from a dislocated knee suffered back in November. Bournemouth goalkeeper Shwan Jalal should return for the trip. The 27-year-old missed the 2-2 draw at Charlton on the advice of the club's medical staff after having an epidural in his back but is in line for a recall. Defender Warren Cummings is back in contention after returning from a thigh strain and may be handed a start. Steve Lovell has not made an appearance this season through an ankle injury but, after a goalscoring return to the reserves in midweek, he is set to be named on the bench. Manager Lee Bradbury is likely to leave out player-assistant Steve Fletcher, with Michael Symes back from an abductor problem. Long-term absentee Ryan Garry is unlikely to feature again this season, but midfielder Mark Molesley is back in light training after twisting his ankle in a reserve match.
