Athletic Bilbao beat Real Mallorca 1-0 in the second leg of their Copa del Rey quarter-final to secure a 3-0 aggregate victory. Bilbao won 2-0 at home in the first leg and comfortably protected their advantage to reach the next stage. The deadlock was not broken in the first half and it looked like the match would end goalless, before Ivan Ramis' second-half own goal. The Basque outfit will now face third-tier Mirandes in the semis, with either Valencia or Levante ahead for Barcelona.
