Stoke could be without Charlie Adam when they host West Brom in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday, live on Sky Sports Football from 5.15pm.
Boss Nathan Jones has said the midfielder is "touch and go" with a calf injury for the visit of the Baggies. Tom Ince and Benik Afobe could return after coming off the bench in the 2-0 defeat at Hull.
Stoke are 15th in the Sky Bet Championship, nine points behind the top six.
West Brom loan trio Jacob Murphy, Jefferson Montero and Stefan Johansen are all available for the trip. They were ineligible to play in the FA Cup defeat to Brighton on Tuesday but are back for boss Darren Moore.
Matt Phillips (ankle) is out for the Baggies as he continues to battle the problem. Midfielder James Morrison is doubtful with his own ankle problem and will be assessed.
Opta stats
Stoke have only won one of their last eight league games against West Brom (D2 L5), failing to keep a clean sheet in all of these meetings.
West Brom are looking to record a league double over Stoke outside of the top-flight for the first time since the 1930-31 season (in the 2nd tier).
Stoke have won just one of their last seven games in league competition (W1 D1 L5), including losing four of the last five.
West Brom have scored 38 league goals in the second half this season, five more than Stoke have netted in total (33).
West Brom have won five of their last six away games in the Championship, losing the other.
West Brom striker Dwight Gayle has the best mins/goal ratio of any player in the Championship this season (min. five goals), averaging a goal every 105 minutes.
Prutton's prediction
Stoke simply haven't been able to build on that big win over Leeds a few weeks ago. Since then Nathan Jones has seen his side beaten comfortably twice by Preston and Hull and they haven't managed to score either.
West Brom suffered a bit of a blow against Middlesbrough last week and again in the FA Cup on Wednesday, but Darren Moore is an upbeat boss and his side generally responds pretty well to setbacks. I fancy them to go up to the Potteries and sneak all three points.
David Prutton predicts: 2-3 (33/1 with Sky Bet)
