    Swindon v Torquay preview

Image: Dossevi: On international duty with Togo

Team news for Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash between Swindon and Torquay at the County Ground (kick-off 7pm).

Swindon will be without a number of key players for their Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash against Torquay. Midfielder David Prutton serves his second game of a three-match ban after his second sending off of the season against Plymouth. The Robins are also without Paul Caddis and Thomas Dossevi, who are both on international duty. Caddis links up with Scotland's Under-21s while Dossevi has joined Togo for their African Cup of Nations qualifiers. However, manager Danny Wilson does have Matt Ritchie available for selection after he made a loan move from Portsmouth. Charlie Austin (shoulder), Alan Sheehan (hamstring), Callum Kennedy (ankle) and Lecsinel Jean-Francois (hamstring) are all receiving treatment and are unavailable to face the Gulls. Mark Ellis is likely to continue in Torquay's defence for their Johnstone's Paint Trophy trip to Swindon. Ellis returned to the Gulls side for their 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury after missing the last couple of games with a foot injury. Manager Paul Buckle is likely to keep Ellis at the heart of his defence in order for him to regain full match fitness. Nicky Wroe, who had been rested, is likely to captain the side again while Kieron Charnock, dropped against Shrews at the weekend, is pushing for a recall. Damon Lathrope missed Saturday's game at the Greenhous Meadow with injury and could return as Buckle looks to give his fringe players a chance. Wayne Carlisle could also feature at the County Ground.
