Wes Hoolahan of Norwich City walks out with his children to a guard of honour as he makes his last appearance for the club during the Sky Bet Championship match between Norwich City and Leeds United at Carrow Road on April 28, 2018 in Norwich, England.

Wes Hoolahan could be included in West Brom's squad to face Bristol City in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday, live on Sky Sports (kick-off 8pm).

The playmaker joined until January late last week after leaving Norwich on a free in the summer. He was not available for Friday's 1-1 draw at Birmingham but could come into the reckoning on Tuesday with James Morrison struggling with a groin injury.

Albion now have six games in 19 days and Gareth Barry and Hal Robson-Kanu pushing to start.

Bristol City could be unchanged as they chase a fifth straight win. The Robins have only conceded once in their last four matches and are just a point off top spot in the Sky Bet Championship.

Eros Pisano suffered a hip injury during the international break and is a major doubt for the trip to The Hawthorns. Bailey Wright, Frank Fielding, Mo Eisa, Hakeeb Adelakun and Korey Smith are all still sidelined for the visitors.

This is the first meeting between West Brom and Bristol City since January 2016, when the Baggies won a FA Cup third round replay 1-0 at Ashton Gate.

Bristol City have won just one of their last 12 away visits to the Hawthorns in all competitions (D4 L7), a 1-0 win in December 1993 with Brian Tinnion scoring the winner.

West Brom are looking to win three straight league games at home for the first time since a run of four in February 2017.

After a 13-match winless away run in the league, Bristol City have won their last two on the road. The Robins last won three successive away games in the Championship back in October last season.

West Brom have used 18 different players in the league in 2018-19, only Brentford (17) have used fewer than the Baggies in the Championship so far.

West Brom striker Dwight Gayle has scored in each of his previous two league appearances against Bristol City, doing so for Peterborough in December 2012 and for Newcastle in August 2016.

Bristol City 1-0 Sheffield United

Prutton's prediction

West Brom still seem like less than the sum of their parts. With the options they have at their disposal they should really be blowing teams away.

Bristol City are going very well this season and don't seem to be missing Aden Flint or Bobby Reid at all. Lee Johnson is doing a great job there and I think they could cause a bit of a stir at The Hawthorns.

David Prutton predicts: 0-2 (22/1 with Sky Bet)
