Winger missing again for Wolves, Watson blow for Owls

Michael Kightly misses out for Wolves, while Sheffield Wednesday will be without the veteran Steve Watson. Former non-league winger Kightly returned from an ankle injury as a late substitute against Watford, but will not feature against the Owls after he felt a reaction in training. Stephen Elliott is expected to continue on the right wing, but Freddy Eastwood will miss the game with a hand injury. Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and David Edwards were cup-tied against Watford, but will hope to be recalled, but the game comes too soon for Jody Craddock.

Owls news

Brian Laws takes his side to Molineux without Watson after the experienced defender suffered a recurrence of his hamstring injury. The visitors will also have to give late fitness tests to Burton O'Brien and Etienne Esajas due to a dead leg and foot injury respectively. Striker Leon Clarke is also doubtful due to a knee problem, while long-term absentees Francis Jeffers and Frank Simek (both ankle) remain sidelined.
